Hello my frosted fairies! I’m wishing you all a Happy New Year filled with magic and enchantment.
Sadly the festive season has come to an end and I have put away my Nutcracker themed tree. Nevertheless, I have had so much fun rearranging my room for 2019 with the items I received from Santa. Does anyone else love to display their gifts and gaze at them in admiration for a few days after Christmas?
As you may have seen in my girly Christmas gift-guide, I made a collage of the items I was dreaming of receiving and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I unwrapped so many delightful treasures on Christmas morning.
I love taking a peak at what others have received and when I asked on Twitter and Instagram if anyone was interested in seeing my gifts, the response was overwhelmingly positive! Therefore, I thought I would share everything with you.
I feel very blessed and appreciate all the little gems I have been gifted with this year.
P.S I must warn you that there is an overwhelming abundance of pink…
I remember watching freddymylove’s ‘What I got for Christmas’ video last year and I have been lusting after her pink bow suitcase from Ted Baker ever since. Opening the case on Christmas Day was a wondrous moment.
I have fallen in love with the rose gold bows and zips as they add a sweet, feminine touch.
I’m planning on taking the suitcase to London in the spring as my mum said she would book tickets to see the Royal Ballet’s performance of Romeo and Juliet.
Ted Baker|‘Rammira’ Ruffle Backpack in Pink
Pink handbags are my weakness and this Ted Baker backpack is an utter dream.
The rose shade is divine and the delicate frills add a unique touch. Ted Baker declares it “a bag with of talents” and I definitely agree with this.
Designed as a multi-purpose bag, you can wear it cross-body, on the shoulder or as a backpack, you need only adjust the straps. It is made from top grain leather and the rose-gold accents are certain to make any girly girl happy.
I can imagine wearing this throughout spring and summer as it’s so lightweight and fits all my essentials. The inside of the bag showcases an array of stunning bows; making every inch a piece of perfection.
Who doesn’t love shoes adorned with bows?
I have a slight infatuation with bows and I couldn’t be without this pair of trainers from PUMA. I adore the soft nude shade and the pink satin laces are so elegant.
Intricate details are woven throughout the design; I particularly love the subtle touches of silver and the satin bows at the back which transform the trainers into Disney princess shoes!
Too Faced|’Under the Christmas Tree’ Palette
I can’t believe I finally own this pretty palette from Too Faced. Their 2018 Christmas collection has to be my favourite.
The palette is encased in a fairytale theatre style box which is decorated with tiny gold stars. The illustrations of snow bunnies, sweet squirrels and elegant swans, are all presented in mint green, pastel pink and lavendar shades.
The palette itself is shaped like a Christmas tree and wrapped in soft pink velvet packaging.
It can be divided into three compacts and each shade has been bestowed with a whimsical name; some of my favourites are… ‘Angel Kisses’, ‘Vanilla Snow’ and ‘Winter Wonderland.’ I don’t want to go into too much detail as I’m going to be writing an in-depth review on the palette very soon!
Too Faced|Pink Swan Christmas Dreams Brush Set
This set of brushes are all my Christmas wishes come true. Cascading across the packaging is the sweetest illustration of a charming puppy and a dashing squirrel, surrounded by a set of gifts embellished with bows.
If the winter wonderland packaging wasn’t enough, the candy pink makeup pouch and brushes that come inside are just as wonderful! The phrase ‘I Dream In Makeup’ has been embossed onto the vanity case in gold calligraphy and the golden heart zip adds a cute touch.
The makeup brushes are set with pale pink bristles which are as soft as a bunny and look like cotton candy. The handles of each brush are scattered with twinkling stars which transform them into fairy wands; ready to cast their makeup magic!
I can’t wait to start filling out my new personal planner from Kikki K. Covered in a soft baby pink with gold detailing, this planner is so chic and classic. It has an 18-month perpetual calendar and is easily customisable to fit your style.
Inside you will find a pink leather zip wallet, card slots, a miniature sticky note pad, a pink notepad and sections for notes, to do lists, subject pages etc.
Alongside this, it has refillable pages so instead of purchasing a new planner at the end of each year you can buy more insert sheets.
Disney|Marie Mug & Spoon
My new Disney Marie mug is as sweet as can be. Coated in a pink quilted design and featuring Marie in her pink bow and sassiest pose, I’m certain that this mug was made for me.
The miniature ceramic spoon that comes with the mug is perfect for adding that final sprinkle of sugar to your tea or scooping up the last few marshmallows in a hot chocolate!
Mad Beauty|Marie Bows & Whiskers Body Cream
After falling in love with the bath milk from the ‘Marie Bows and Whiskers’ bath range, I was so grateful to receive the matching body cream.
The packaging features Marie perched in the centre in her most ladylike stance and the body creams fragrant notes of cherry blossom and peony remind me so much of spring.
Ava & I|Travel Jewellery Case
My miniature jewellery case from Ava & I is the ideal place to store my dainty jewellery pieces.
The case combines feminine prettiness with elegance and class; it has a marshmallow pink colour, a golden motif adorning its lid and inside there is a soft velvet lining.
I think it’s going to look beautiful alongside my Ted Baker suitcase when I take them on trips.
Primark|Belle ‘Red Roses’ Diffuser
This Beauty and the Beast diffuser is so pretty. It has the classic ‘Red Roses’ scent which is likely to be inspired by the enchanted rose featured in the Disney classic.
The packaging is a romantic dream with illustrations of Mrs Potts & Chip, grand castles and roses!
I’m going to feel like a Disney princess with this Sleeping Beauty eye mask and bed socks set. The eye mask is made out of a light pink satin material and feels like a fluffy cloud on my skin. The knitted bed socks look very cosy and the golden thread adds a lovely detail. I can’t wait to go to sleep like fairytale royalty.
Asda|Swan Pom-Pom Beanie
I have recently fallen in love with swans as they always look effortlessly elegant with their white fluffy feathers.
After receiving this swan beanie for Christmas, I can’t wait to wear it on a frosty January afternoon. The pink fleece material is so snuggly and the sparkly princess crown and fluttering eyelash detailing add a charming femininity.
The White Company|Pale Pink Cashmere Bed Socks
The White Company’s pink cashmere bed socks are my favourite and I was so delighted to receive a new pair this Christmas. The light cashmere blend feels like pure clouds of candy floss and leave you feeling as toasty as a cinnamon bun. They also come in a light blue and white but I adore this pale almost, snowy white pink.
Willow and Paige|Oversized Scarf with Frills
My heart sings when I spot anything frilly and pink so this knitted scarf from Willow and Paige is all my winter dreams tied together with a ribbon. The pink sorbet shade and soft-touch knitted texture make it a dreamy piece to have in your winter wardrobe.
Laura Ashley|Pom-Pom Knitted Blanket in ‘Blush’
This pom-pom detail throw from Laura Ashley has to be one of my most coveted gifts this Christmas. The mink-style, fluffy texture keeps me warm, the blush pink shade matches my bedding and the white pom-poms add the cutest detail!
Jelly Cat|Bashful Snow Bunny in ‘Blush’
Jellycat bunnies are one of my favourite things and I was so happy to receive their special edition ‘Snow Bunny’ from my brother this Christmas!
Described as “shy and sweet”, the bashful snow bunny will keep you warm and toasty away from any frightful winter storm. “Snuggled in a creamy fluffy ribbon capelet, our bun is ready for a sleigh ride!”
Victoria’s Secret|Velvet Bow Slippers in ‘Pink About It’
This pair of slippers from Victoria’s Secret are the comfiest slippers I own! They have a plush, fuzzy texture and a dainty bow detail which matches my pyjamas perfectly.
LUSH|’Magic Wand’ bubble bar, ‘Luxury Lush Pud’ bath bomb & ‘Snow Fairy’ jelly bomb
The ‘Magic Wand’ reusable bubble bar is my favourite product from LUSH’s Christmas range; it’s dusted with silver glitter, tied with a ribbon and a shiny bell, it smells like marshmallows and fills the bath tub with candy scented bubbles.
The Luxury Lush Pud bath bomb combines the sweetest festive scents. I love this product because the fusion of colours creates a magical rainbow effect in the water (with lots of shimmer of course.)
Snow Fairy is one of my most-loved winter scents and I’m so happy that LUSH have created a bath bomb to go alongside their popular shower gel. The jelly bomb makes the prettiest pink princess bubble bath and leaves you smelling like a sweet shop.
I hope you’re having a lovely 2019 so far! I’d love to know you received for Christmas and what your resolutions for the New Year are 🌸🍾🎀✨
Lots of love
