Hello my frosted fairies! I’m not sure if its just me but when a new season emerges I always have the sudden urge to shop. Now that Autumn has officially arrived, I couldn’t resist purchasing some lovely items.
In today’s post I will be featuring…the prettiest pink bow and frill detail knit, the dreamiest skin care products, fluffy loungewear, a cosy Autumn read and a pair of pink pearl gloves.
OASIS | Pointelle Frill Jumper
No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to resist pink knitwear. After browsing the OASIS website one afternoon I was pleased to spot this little jem. The jumper is a light knit so it would probably be more suited to a mild autumn day.
I can imagine pairing it with my pink scalloped skater skirt from Ted Baker and a pair of ballerina flats. This soft shade of pink is probably my favourite as its so subtle it’s almost white.
The frill detailing on the shoulders adds a girly touch and the bow at the back makes the piece appear even more feminine!
Ted Baker | ‘Blush Pink’ Body Lotion
Ted Baker have flawless packaging and I must admit that I was initially drawn to this body lotion because of its appearance. The lotion is from Ted Baker’s ‘Porcelain Rose’ collection which reimagines one of Ted’s signature floral prints as a trio of enchanting fragrances; ‘Blush Pink’, ‘Pretty Pearl’ and ‘Opulent Petal.’ As the months get progressively colder, my skin inevitably needs extra care and this lotion is the perfect fix. I have been using it after my evening bath over the past few weeks and not only has it left my skin feeling soft, it smells divine! The lotion combines “soft floral notes of jasmine and neroli” and base notes of “patchouli, sandalwood and musk.”
Mad Beauty | Sleeping Beauty Face Mask
A soothing and heavenly scented face mask is an essential part of any skin care routine and I fell in love with this mask inspired by Aurora, my favourite Disney princess. The mask is scented with lavender which is an ideal ingredient to apply to your skin just before bed as it will help to relax and calm the skin. Nevertheless, I haven’t used it yet because I don’t want to ruin the pretty packaging… 💕🙈
Primark| Bambi Throw
I just adore Primark’s homeware range because every item is effortlessly soft and cosy. Their Disney collections are the sweetest and when I spotted this Bambi throw I just had to pick it up. It has a dreamy, velvet texture and the print of Bambi with a butterfly on his tail is so enchanting. I can image snuggling up on a wintry evening with this blanket and a cup of tea!
Comfy socks are a winter essential and how delightful is this set of Thumper themed socks? Each one is adorned with a cute print of my favourite Disney bunny!
Running myself a bath which is filled to the brim with bubbles is one of my favourite things about this time of year. I recently purchased a shower and bath gel from the brand Treaclemoon in their ‘Marshmallow Hearts’ scent. Aside from being affordable, this gel smells like the inside of a sweet shop. After placing a few drops into your bath tub you will see an array of marshmallow-like bubbles emerge. The description on the bottle encapsulates this perfectly; “Deep in the night when all dreams come true there is a candy store laden with gloriously coloured jars, each filled with memories so beautiful you want them to stay forever.”
I adore this scent so much that I decided to pick up the matching hand cream. Moisturising my hands is an essential part of my daily routine. Grace Kelly kept her hands moisturised religiously and she was once quoted saying that “a woman’s age shows on her hand much quicker than anywhere else.” Treaclemoon’s ‘Marshmallow Hearts’ hand cream contains apricot oil and vitamin E which leave my skin feeling nourished and cared for.
Milly Johnson | The Perfectly Imperfect Woman
I have already read two of Milly Johnson’s books and they’re the best thing to snuggle up with on a Sunday afternoon with a cup of tea. ‘The Perfectly Imperfectly Woman’ revolves around Marnie Salt, who feels like her life is always far from how she envisioned it to be. Nonetheless, when she meets Lilian, an old lady she started talking to in a baking chat room, she starts to sense that her life is about to change for the better; I can’t wait to start reading this and please make sure to follow me on my goodreads account as I update my ‘Currently Reading’ list every week.
My love for bunny-themed items is slightly excessive but how lovely are these bunny slippers? They’re probably the fluffiest pair that I own. The girly eyelash detailing is so endearing and reminds me of the products from Miss Etoile.
Katie Loxton | Pink Pearl Cable Knit Gloves
Admittedly, I already own quite a few pairs of gloves but when I spotted this set of pink pearl-detail cable knit gloves on the Katie Loxton website I immediately added them to my basket. The gloves are a fine knit and the pearls look so chic! I can’t wait to style them with my pink, pearl bow-detail jumper from Ted Baker. You can also purchase a matching bobble hat and cable knit scarf; this would make a wondrous winter look to wear whilst ice-skating or Christmas shopping.
I really hope you enjoyed this post fairies. Please let me know in the comments section below if you have made any purchases recently and what your favourite item from this collective haul is ☁️🎀❄️✨
I’m sending lots of love to you all and I hope you’re having a magical Sunday evening filled with fluffy marshmallow cupcakes and strawberry milkshakes 💗🍥🍓
