Hello my frosted fairies! In this Sunday’s blog post I have something truly magical in store. If you have followed me for a while you will be aware of my fervent and burgeoning love for Cath Kidston and Disney. Consequently, when my favourite brands collaborated two years ago to create their Winnie-the-Pooh collection I was completely overjoyed. This range was so successful that Cath Kidston have continued to release an array of whimsical collections; including… Mickey and Minnie Mouse, 101 Dalmatians, Peter Pan and most recently, Alice in Wonderland. Subsequently, I expected nothing short of perfection from their latest range of products inspired by the one that started it all, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?
Over the seven jewelled hills, beyond the seventh fall, in the cottage of the seven dwarfs, dwells Snow White, fairest one of all… ♡
As a child, Snow White was the film that frightened me most. Nevertheless, as an adult I have learnt to appreciate it in a new way and it has become one of my favourite Disney classics. The evil queen aside, I adore the film for its forest scenes, the bunnies and fawns are so sweet. I also love listening to songs such as ‘Whistle While You Work’ and ‘With A Smile And A Song’; they never fail to brighten my mood.
Remember you’re the one who can fill the world with sunshine… ♡
Cath Kidston released their new range last Thursday at 9.00am. I made sure to set my alarm as their Disney collections are always popular and I wanted to make sure I picked up my favourite items. The designs themselves are thoughtfully and delicately crafted; ‘Singing Birds’, ‘Scattered Blossom’ and ‘Apples and Spots’ are all so pretty but my favourite pattern is the ‘Dwarfs and Blossom’ print.
I couldn’t resist purchasing a pair of bed socks and a bowl in this charming design. You can really see how much attention to detail went into producing each piece. I’m also very happy (pardon the pun) that Cath Kidston chose to make a print featuring the dwarfs.
I already own a few pairs of bed socks from Cath Kidston and I remember purchasing a set from their Peter Pan range last year.
They’re so cosy, thick and warm and I know that they will be perfect during the winter. The cherry blossom reminds me of the cherry trees in the final few scenes of the film; so cute!
The quality of Cath Kidston’s kitchenware is always the highest standard and I decided to purchase their ‘Dwarfs and Blossom’ print bowl.
Originally I was looking to purchase the tea plate but upon reflection I realised that I have accumulated quite a few over the past year and thought I should try something different.
Around the bowls exterior you will see a scattering of blush pink cherry blossom and each dwarf represented in their classic pose.
Who is your favourite dwarf? Mine would have to be Dopey, he’s so cute! Alongside the matching tea plate you can also purchase a mug; making it the perfect breakfast set up.
Some day when spring is here,we’ll find our love anew, and the birds will sing, and wedding bells will ring,Some day when my dreams come true… ♡
I really hope you enjoyed this post fairies. Please let me know in the comments section below if you plan on purchasing anything from the range and what you’d like to see them release next? I would love to see Sleeping Beauty, The Aristocats, Bambi or Lady and the Tramp collections; the only problem is I would have to buy everything in sight…☁️🎀🏰🌸
I’m sending lots of love to you all and I hope you’re having a splendid Sunday evening filled with dreamy red velvet cupcakes and marshmallow hot chocolates 💗🍥🍰
