Hello my frosted fairies! I’m wishing you a glorious Sunday evening. Today’s blog post was inspired by a little trip I made to my local Primark last week. I felt compelled to write about their Disney Aristocats Marie range which is so elegant and cute!
On my latest trip, I finally managed to get my paws on the Marie trinket dish. I had been lusting over it for months (particularly after reading both Freya and Catherine’s blog posts.) Although my collection is rather dinky, many of my followers on Twitter were in favour of seeing what I managed to pick up from the range.
However, I must point out that when visiting my local Primark store, many of the pieces were sold out as the range is so popular! Nevertheless, you can actually find the products on Ebay and the pricing is quite reasonable 🌸
For as long as I can remember, Marie has been my favourite Disney animal. I admire her adorable pink bow and sassy personality; she embodies everything I adore! My heart melted when I set eyes on the range dedicated to the ultimate Parisian princess (Marie Antoinette, eat your heart out! 🎀👸🏼🍰) I actually re-visited the store this weekend to pick up the Marie vanity case. Everything from the collection is, of course, created in a style that Marie would be proud of; with soft blush pinks, darling bows and plenty of sparkles!
I think that it’s fair to say that I have a penchant for trinket dishes and this darling pink Marie dish was too delightful to leave behind. At only £5.00 it was an absolute steal! and makes a special addition to any vanity.
The trinket dish looks pretty on its own but you can also use it to store any jewels that you want to access easily. At the moment I am storing my Marie bow detail bracelet from ‘Sparkle La Vie’; I thought this jewellery piece perfectly matched the dish!
I purchased my Marie cardholder on Ebay as I wasn’t able to find it in store. I find that I’m constantly forgetting my purse and leaving it at home. In all honesty, I hardly ever pay for things in cash so I thought it would be a good idea to have my own cardholder. It slips seamlessly inside my Kate Spade and it stays in there so I’m less likely to forget it. The illustration of Marie and her pink, glittery bow is a visual representation of myself ~ most of my outfits consist of some bow detailing and I do daydream about being a cat…I mean, who doesn’t?
Being cosy is a top priority for me and Primark’s loungewear never fails to impress. The quality is always higher than the pricing and this pair of fluffy Marie footlets are so snuggly! The baby pink colour and addition of the pink satin bows and lace around the ankle reminds me of something a ballerina would wear.
I really hope you enjoyed this post. Please be sure to let me know in the comments section below if you have managed to pick up anything from Primark’s Marie range and, who your favourite Disney animal is?
Lots of love,
