Hello my frosted fairies! I hope you’re all having a magical week filled with rainbows, sunshine and warm, vanilla shortbread! ♡ Today’s blog post is something a little different for me but I hope you still enjoy it!
I have been a fan of Cath Kidston for many years now. Aside from Ted Baker, it is my favourite brand for clothing and homeware pieces. This year it is the brands 25th birthday, and I was delighted to see their collaboration with Birchbox as it is also my birthday later this month. I thought this would be a lovely pre-birthday treat to myself 💝🌸 The ‘Birthday Rose’ print encasing the box immediately stood out to me as I have been looking at this sun dress on the Cath Kidston website!
Birchbox is a brand I have been wanting to try out for a few years and when I saw this months box I couldn’t resist any longer! I found the process of signing up and ordering my box a lot more simple than I had first anticipated. Once you have made an account, you will receive a box monthly. This box will be filled with five tester beauty treats! There are so many brands who currently work with Birchbox, some of my favourites are… Percy and Reed, Benefit, Ciaté and so many more! Once testing out the products, if you decide that you would like to pick up a product in its full size, you can get 10% off and once you’ve received six boxes you’ll be eligible to 15% VIP discount. Your subscription can also be cancelled at any time – there are no commitments or contracts involved.
To receive your first box for £5.00 + £2.95 P&P, follow this link and enter the code BBXCATH at the checkout.
Inside your box you will find…
ModelCo Baked Highlighter in ‘Frose’
Highlighters are definitely one of my essential beauty products and baked treats are something I love to make on a regular basis to lift my mood. Consequently, I can’t wait to try out this mini baked highlighter from ModelCo. I selected the shade ‘Frose’ which is a frosted, rose colour and I’m hoping it will give me the perfect spring glow!
Beautaniq Beauty Fill + Tame Brow Gel
I have been meaning to pick up a brow gel for quite some time. Admittedly, I don’t do much to my brows as I prefer a natural look. Anyway, this vegan formula contains aloe leaf extract and glycerin so you don’t have to worry about crunchy or sticky brow hairs!
Cath Kidston Hand Cream
The hand cream included in this months Birchbox was what drew me into making a purchase. I always have a hand cream with me. They are an essential at any time throughout the year. Something that has stuck with me for a few years is Grace Kelly’s observation that… “a woman’s age shows on her hand much quicker than anywhere else.” If the Princess of Monaco swore by hand cream, then I do too!
Lumene Valo Overnight Bright Sleeping Cream
Beauty sleep is everything to me. Just call me Princess Aurora! 👸🏼🌸 Anyway, I’m really looking forward to trying out this night cream which contains cloudberry seed extract and vitamin C which brighten your skin (and hopefully make you feel like your skin is sleeping on a cloud ☁️) The hyaluronic acid and Arctic Spring Water also work to retain your natural moisture levels.
Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow Illuminator
I am definitely a fan of dewy skin and I try to achieve it as much as possible when I’m creating my makeup base. This illuminator is literally sunshine in a bottle, with self-adjusting pigments, powerful antioxidants, aloe and chamomile to soothe the skin. It can also be used as a…
- Light weight moisturiser – protecting the skin and improving its appearance
- Tinted corrector – evens out and illuminates skin tone
- Makeup base – helps hold your makeup in place all day long.
I really hope you enjoyed this post lovelies! I have a baking post on the way for Sunday evening 🍰🍋🌸 so make sure you stay tuned for that one! Please let me know in the comments section below what you think of Birchbox and, if you’re a fan of Cath Kidston, make sure to share with me your favourite purchase from them! 🎀🐰
Lots of love,
