Hello my frosted fairies! I hope that you are all doing well. Spring has finally sprung and I couldn’t be happier. Although the weather has been very unpredictable as of late, I’m longing for the flutter of cherry blossom, endless sunbeams shining through the windows, the hopping of bunnies, the sprouting of daffodils and the emergence of pink peonies.
Spring is my favourite season and its associations with rebirth led me to think about sprucing up my bedroom decor. As winter comes to a close, I thought it was only right to replace my sugar-plum fairy decor with bunnies, florals and pastels!
On Monday, me and my mum had a mini shopping trip as I needed to pick up some baking supplies for an upcoming Easter post. Whilst on this trip I spontaneously decided to have a little nosey in TK Maxx for some Spring decor. I was surprised to find an assortment of adorable Easter displays and I really wanted to take home the whole range. Although I refrained from doing so, I did manage to select six new pieces which I am in love with. I hope this post provides you with a little bit of inspiration for your own Spring homeware purchases! ♡
The first two items I picked up were an adorable bunny rabbit tea-pot and mug. Their simple, floral detailing makes them the perfect tea-set to use this spring. They were so affordable and definitely reminded me of something you would spot in Anthropologie. I can’t wait to fill the tea-pot with my favourite tea on a sunny afternoon. They would also look wonderful laid upon a table with other sweet treats for an Easter party.
The next item I couldn’t leave behind was this pale pink, porcelain bunny ornament. I have slowly built up a collection of small ornaments in my room and I thought this piece would add a subtle touch of spring. Yet because it’s quite understated, it should look well placed in my room for the rest of the year.
Alongside my love of cute ornaments, I also can’t resist a stuffed animal. This lamb teddy is the cutest spring decoration. I adore farm animals and I’m hoping to visit a local farm in the next few weeks to feed the bunnies, lambs and baby chicks!
My mum also picked out a mini Easter cupcake set. I have already made a batch of bunny cupcakes but I’ll definitely be making more on Easter Sunday and I think this set will be so useful!
Finally, I’m always writing ‘to do’ lists. It’s one of my favourite things and they keep me grounded and organised. Nevertheless, I dislike writing my daily to do’s in my journal because once I’ve completed my tasks, I find it really difficult to discard the paper without ruining the journal. However, when I saw this “tear away” to do notepad, it instantly reminded me of the stationery from Rifle Paper Co, but for only £2.99! So, of course I had to take it home with me.
I really hope you enjoyed today’s post my little angel cakes. It’s something a little bit different for me but a baking post will be uploaded by the end of the week! Please let me know in the comments section below some of your favourite things about Easter 🎀🐣🌸
Lots of love,
