Hello my frosted fairies! Although I think it’s totally acceptable to treat yourself at any point during the year, I also believe that Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to buy something you have been lusting after. Today I have assembled a little gift-guide for any last-minute purchases for your special someone or for yourself as a little mid-week pick me up! I may have ordered a couple of items from this gift-guide and I can’t wait for them to arrive! ♡
Valentine’s Wishes ♡ by xxxsophiejones
1. Baylis & Harding | Rose Prosecco Fragranced Heart Shaped Gift Set
I first saw this adorable gift set featured on the lovely Catherine’s blog.
When I discovered that it was under £10.00, I couldn’t resist making a little purchase. Inside you receive a body wash and a body lotion which are both scented with a ‘Rose Prosecco Fizz’ fragrance which is described as having “fruity top notes of blackberry and raspberry, carefully blended with creamy vanilla drift” which sounds beyond dreamy to me! Also, the packaging is so sweet and a perfect fit for Valentine’s Day.
Diptyque always seem to release the most darling candles for Valentine’s Day. I would purchase this candle for the packaging alone as it epitomises a princesses dream on top of a pristine, white vanity or, once used up, as a makeup brush holder. The scent, like the packaging, is heavenly! Inspired by the Persian treat, Turkish Delight, the candle contains notes of rose petal, honey and lemon zest. The pastel exterior also reminds me of designs embedding a French boudoir at the Palace of Versailles.
I remember purchasing my first Chloé perfume a few years ago and it still remains a firm favourite of mine. Despite my love for the original fragrance, I have wanted to try out the ‘Love Story’ edition which never fails to remind me of Taylor Swift. I was immediately drawn to the elegant bottle, which looks Parisian and romantic with the satin pink ribbon adorning the top; the little detail of the padlock design also reminds me of the love lock bridge in Paris. The bottles design engulfs the three principles upon which the brand was founded ~ freedom, lightness and femininity. The fragrance is detailed to have notes of orange and plum-tree blossom and a burst of nasturtium, giving it a fresh and floral presence.
For most people, chocolate is an essential on Valentine’s Day. The pink champagne truffles from Charbonnel et Walker are the ultimate indulgence. Inside the dainty pastel pink box you will find white chocolate truffles with hints of strawberry and creamy milk chocolate, followed by a champagne centre ~ a perfect treat!
5. Kate Spade | Rose Gold Monterey Watch
If you know me well, you will be aware of my love for all things Kate Spade. When I saw this rose gold watch on their website, I had major heart eyes for it. This piece is so timelessly (see what I did there?) elegant. With sparkling stones, a glossy white dial and pale blush wrist detailing, this watch would go with any floaty, ethereal Valentine’s Day look!
This bow detail jumper has been on my wish list for quite some time. Nevertheless, in light of its high price tag, I haven’t been able to bring myself to purchase it. It has the softest baby pink colour, a soft cashmere blend and the additional array of bows on the sleeves adds an ultra feminine touch! Although I would still love to own this piece, I found a very similar jumper from New Look
and couldn’t resist ordering it (the Ted Baker version will have to wait for now…)
I already own a similar pale pink ballerina necklace from Ted Baker, which I kindly received from my parents two Christmases ago. When I laid eyes upon this ballerina necklace with the heart balloon detail, I’m pretty certain I swooned. This jewellery piece epitomises everything romantic with its rose gold and swarovski crystal design.
Unfortunately, Ted Baker doesn’t stock the Pheobie mini skirt any more. Nevertheless, I couldn’t miss it from my Valentine’s Day wishes list. I’m almost hoping that they will re-stock it one day, and I’ll meet my own prince charming whilst wearing it…? Anyway, I have a very similar bow detail dress from Ted Baker and this skirt reminded me of it. It’s so stylish and dainty and would go perfectly with a soft, pussy bow blouse and a delicate piece of jewellery.
9. Ted Baker |Lanzia Small Jewellery Box
If you are lucky enough to be gifted some breathtaking jewellery pieces, this adorable, candy pink jewellery box from Ted Baker would be the perfect present to store all of your treasures! With its gold bow detailing this box will look effortlessly sophisticated on any vanity.
10. Rifle Paper Co. | Valentine Sweetheart Card
What is Valentine’s Day without a cute card? Whether this is a card to your girlfriend/boyfriend, best friend, mum or even to yourself, a little message of love and kindness can really make a world of difference! This card from Rifle Paper Co. is so sweet and actually reminded me of the Swizzels Love Heart sweets!
11. Kate Spade | Skinny Mini Rose Gold Bow Bangle
Okay, I know that my infatuation with bows may have gotten slightly out of hand but I can’t get enough of them! This rose gold bangle from Kate Spade is classy and minimal but goes wonderfully well with a soft pink cardigan and a clean-cut skirt.
12. Kate Spade | Light Pink Small Square Studs
I don’t actually have my ears pierced and it was something that never seemed to bother me until a few weeks ago when I started to find so many darling pairs of earrings which I couldn’t wear! Anyway, these light pink studs from Kate Spade look so sparkly and are fit for a princess.
I really hope you enjoyed reading this post and make sure to let me know in the comments section below if you plan on treating yourself or someone you love to anything this Valentine’s Day. P.S if you need anymore inspiration for tomorrow, check out my Valentine’s Day Pinterest board.
I hope you have a wonderful week filled with strawberry heart-shaped macarons, Hershey’s kisses and champagne truffles!
Lots of love ♡
